Super Tuesday Excitement
As Super Tuesday progresses, it is impossible to deny the excitement and renewed spirit that this years presidential election has generated amongst people across the nation. CNN reports that more people have registered for the primaries than in 2004 and more people are volunteering to help out at polls. For the first time in a long time, people seem to truly believe there can be a change. All throughout the day I have witnessed students canvasing for Obama, have received calls urging me to vote, and seen many proud people displaying their "I Voted" sticker as testimony to having already done so. It will be interesting to see the results today, especially in regards to the democratic candidates because they are running such a close race, and all other party contenders have bowed out.
